– You forget how dependent you are on your computer until you no longer have one that works. The DC power jack broke on my laptop when I needed it most. Abraham was far and away the most responsive and professional technician I encountered after making numerous calls to other services that were either hard to reach or more interested in price gouging. His willingness to listen to my concerns regarding the repair and work with me regarding his fees was the difference. – I ran into an issue where my PC screen just went black. I had YouTubed things I could try at home but unfortunately was not able to fix it. I yelped to see where I could take it nearby and landed on this page. The next day I called Abraham- he has really good customer service and I could tell he was a very kind person just genuinely wanting to help. I took my laptop to him and he really took the time to explain everything that was going on and possible solutions. He’s very knowledgeable so I knew if my laptop was fixable, he’d be the one to do it. Sooo, here’s my story, I have a MBP and I work with a lot of video footage for editing. It was more beneficial for me to use an SSD as my main and replace my DVD drive with the original hard drive so i don’t have to rely on external hard drives anymore. Once all my parts came in with my new SSD and extra caddy for the original HD, I installed my SSD effortlessly, but when it came to take off the DVD drive, that’s when my frustration began! I stripped 2 out of 5 screws I needed to take off!

The next morning, I called many repair shops high and low asking if they could do it and the only person who wasn’t hesitant to help me out was Abraham! Everyone else I called weren’t too confident, and one even told me to take it to the Apple Store! What was the point of me calling you for help than?!! I didn’t want to wait in line with a reservation and i needed this done ASAP because like any normal hard working American, I had projects I needed to finish and I have a day job to go to, so time was money!

Abraham was very accommodating to my unpredictable day job schedule and very fair pricing due to my dilemma. Dropped it off at his shop during my lunch and couple of hours later, had the courtesy to drop it off at my work! Awesome! He went above and beyond any repair shop! Very appreciative and got me editing right after my day job!

Definitely my GO-TO repair guy for any computer problems!!

– My computer went down with a virus over the Christmas holiday weekend. I was desperately seeking a shop that was open on the weekend to help fix my computer. Not surprisingly most stores were closed for the weekend. For the stores that were open gave they me quotes but their estimates was out of my budget. When I spoke to Advanced Tech they explained to me what they will do and what could be the problem with my computer. Best of all Abe was willing to work with me and stay within my budget. He also kept in contact with me throughout the day with updates. I can’t express how happy I was with the professionalism I got. I am also happy that they were able to fix my computer the same day. I definitely would recommend them to friend and family. I know where I’m going next time I have issues with my computer.

– When my home computer crashed, I was referred to Advanced Tech Computers by another Computer Tech that felt he could not help me. I needed special help with downloading my back-up files from a large company that saves files. The owner of ATC, Abraham Mares, provided extremely professional and polite service. The fee per hour was very reasonable and in line with most small computer service companies. He answered all of my calls, usually answered his cell phone immediately, and responded to all of my emails right away. Plus, he kept me up-to-date on the progress. Although we had originally thought it was going to be just a one hour easy job, it turned out to be longer because of working with another unfamiliar company with a different process. He could have given up, or been abrupt like most other techs would have been, but he told me that when he promises to do something, he keeps his promise. And he did! It was a lot of extra work and he didn’t ask for more money, but I paid him double the original quote as it was only fair.
